We're Expecting!

On December 29th, I took the first of 3 pregnancy tests, all of which came out positive! (It took 3 tests and lots of little blue lines before I fully believed it.)

Dustin and I decided just last month (November) to start trying for our first child. I don't think we either one expected that I would be such a Fertile Myrtle, but it turns out I am! He actually handled the news a bit better than I did. :)

It's been very hard not to say anything to our family, but we've decided not to tell anyone until after the first OB/GYN appointment on Jan. 16th. Once we've gotten the all-clear from Dr. Murphree, we'll start telling everyone. Lunch with the family yesterday for New Year's Day was terribly hard. Everyone was talking about us "trying" and we couldn't tell them that we "had". :)
